The Un-Brain™ research program is open research in the mathematical and computational modeling of memory: how an artificial memory can keep what a human memory loses, and what that difference can teach us about the brain. I do this research for the community. Every paper is open access, and the reference implementation is public.
Scientific research
The program studies AI memory as a structure that keeps the cognitive virtues of human memory while refusing its silent failures: no silent decay, no silent overwriting, and no contradiction resolved behind the owner's back — the owner decides, not the system. Each study builds the substrate, measures it, and publishes the evidence needed to reproduce the result.
Open publications
Research results are published open access with a DOI and are free to read, cite, and build on.

Toward medicine and biology
The long-term aim of Un-Brain Foundation is to carry this research into medicine and biology: to help prevent brain conditions and, one day, to help find treatments, starting from what research on artificial memory shows about memory itself. The conditions in scope include neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's, addictions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other conditions of memory, cognition, and behavior. One direction already named in the first paper is an external, auditable record of identity for people with neurodegenerative disease such as Alzheimer's, built over years by patient and caregivers. The second paper reads obsessive-compulsive disorder, addiction, perseveration, Parkinson's, and Huntington's as failure modes of the brain's action-selection circuitry and maps each to a design rule, as an analogy, not a clinical model: the Un-Ganglia.
These are research directions, not results. Nothing on this site is a diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical claim, and any clinical use requires clinical validation and regulatory review first. See research directions as they're published.
